The Noble Eightfold Path, (also known as the Middle Way or Middle Path), is considered as one of the principal teachings in the Buddhist philosophy, it describes the way or path out of suffering and develops insight into the true nature of phenomena, the nature of reality.
Thich Nhat Hanh emphasizes the importance of Right Mindfulness because “when Right Mindfulness is present, the Four Noble Truths and the seven other elements of the Noble Eightfold Path are also present”. (Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching. Ch11. P64)
